Change "Powered by (Invision Power Board)" in your titles

Using your FTP program look for and open the file forumdir/sources/action_public/boards.pbp.

Find :-

Code:

$cp = " (Powered by Invision Power Board)";

Edit the (Powered by Invision Power Board) to change it to whatever you want it to say or if you want to remove it all together then change the code to:-

$cp = "";

It doesn't sound like it does, I just quickly read over their license, and it doesn't say anything about the (Powered by IPB) in the title of the page. Might be something you'd want to ask them, unless anyone here knows for sure.

This is ok with vBulletin, and I can only assume that it is also ok with IPB...What you must leave in tact for sure is the copyright at the bottom of the forums, unless you pay to have it removed...although, it never hurts to ask IPS if this is ok yourself.

Replace "Powered by vb" in your titles

Nope, it's not against their TOS. If you remove the copyright at the footer, then yes, THAT is illegal/against their agreement.
