Question about ban lists in IPB

So I still haven't converted to IPB yet, I'm not really sure why. I want to, but at the same time I'm terrified of screwing up the forum and not being able to get my skin back the way it was before.

Anyway, I have a huge ban list right now to prevent spammers from registering. Will I have to make new bans for each one by hand in IPB once I convert, or is there some way to make it automatic during the convertion?

This is a big issue since I have hundreds of email extentions banned and I don't really want to do them all one by one again.

Just make sure you do a complete file and database backup before you go ahead with anything like this and then it's easy to undo should something drastic happen.

I don't know for sure but I suspect you will need to manually copy your list and then insert them manually into IPB. I recently upgraded an old IPB 1.3 to 2.3 and that lost all my IP/email bans, avatars etc. The main thing is really that you get all your members, topics and posts and forums across.
