I bought this IPB perpetual license several months ago. It's a great forum, but not the one for me. I finally installed the board today after all this time to try to use it. I looked at the admin cp and almost had a heart attack. I'm use to VBulletin and don't really want to learn IPB.

I'm willing to trade this for a VBulletin owned license or for the cash to buy an owned license.

The IPB license never expires. You will get updates for life no need to pay yearly fees or whatever (unless you want paid support). This license is no longer sold by IPB which makes it an even greater value.

There is a $15 fee charged by IPB if you don't have an account with them already. If you already have an account then it's free.

I'm not sure who to PM to verify this, but I guess I'll just PM Ryan and see if he'll do it.

In response to verification...I've already discussed this with David via PM, but for everybody else - IPS will not allow us to verify IPB licenses due to "privacy reasons".

You may or may not be able to as a potential buyer, but I would not count on it. I would advise everybody to be cautious when making deals on the internet, but I will also say that David is a trustworthy guy and you can take his word on this. If it falls through, he's not going to take your money and run.

You wish. It took me a few years to get a decent rep (in domain and webmaster circles) and I wouldn't blow it for anything.

I'm also taking offers to buy if no one can trade. I just need enough to buy a new license. If offers are too low I'll just keep this license until it increases in value some more. This is perpetual, IPB no longer sells this. Updates are free for life. I've had this license for almost a year now and didn't even install it until earlier today.

What is a perpetual license? I am not interested in exchanging at the moment, but depending on what vBulletin releases in terms of add-ons in the next few weeks I might be interested in converting a board over to IPB
