| Hiding Affiliate Links Ive seen this thread around another forum but i cant remember where... Is it possible to mask your affiliate links?! and if it is, is this acceptable...?! JoRd

| But on the other hand, people may see the affiliate link, copy and paste the URL and take out your affiliate ID. I agree with hiding them, as long is it isn't to try and get away with putting a link in your signature on a site that disallows them. I usually use Snipurl to hide them: www.snipurl.com. Also, if the link it gave you was http://snipurl.com/kgel for example, you can change the URL to http://snurl.com/kgel and you will still get to your link. | ||||

| Jordan, you have to know the rules of the board you wish to post your affiliate link on. If they allow affiliate/referral links, then by all means, protect them by using snipurl or a proxy page. If the board does not allow them, like AF, then don't even bother. If we find out, it's an offense.
