WEB LOGIN

I have not much Knowledge of a weblogin programm. So I am looking for a programm that can easely check the userid and password and is also easely put on the the server. I allraedy use VBulletin but I can not use that programm for my website. So its not for the forum but for a protected area on the website.

Vbulletin is used by me on http://www.attechfx.com under FX Forum

This database or whatever its called I want to use on http://www.amerkan.com and should be under the page Inside the markets

Great thanks,

Erik

I'm confused...you want a login box somewhere on your website (other than your forums)? Will it be using the same user accounts as your forums?

Its normal you are confused. Because its to simple I think. I have a new website that will be open to the public. But a part of the website can only be viewed by subscribers. So all I need is a login programm. Like you want to go to that url you have to login with user id and password. Thats all. Not a whole forum. Only the login part. The forum is on a another website. Under http://www.attechfx.com/forum/index.php

Hope its more understandible now? I have been looking on the internet but can't find a programm that simple. Maybe its because of my english and I ask the wrong question on the search engines.

Hope its not anything important you are password protecting as that is incredibly easy for someone with a little bit of knowledge to get around

Hi Jimbo,

I have noticed that myself. But for a few days it will do and I am looking for a better one. So I am posting tomorrow on http://www.scriptlance.com/ and let someone create a script because my knowledge does not go that far. Anyway thanks for pointing it out to me. At least you are someone that cares what happens with us guys in this incredible difficult world.

Thanks

I wouldnt bother paying someone to do this as its relatively easy to implement a secure password system using either ASP/PHP and a database, a good tutorial is here
