Need help with sql file help!
I downloaded the imagehosting script from getyourscripts and I followed all the instructions correctly, but when I try to put that image.sql file into phpmyadmin I come up with this

Error

SQL query:

MySQL said:
#1115 - Unknown character set: ''

Anyone know whats happening?

Can you give me an example of some of the sql? If you would prefer not to post it up here you can pm me. My guess is that there is a charset variables on the create table statements that point to a character set that is not available on the server.

Try this. Every where that you see /* put a # in front of it. I don't believe that /* is a valid comment sequence for that version of myself. So it would be like this.

#/*

That way mysql will ignore those lines like it is supposed to.

Hi thoma, this must be something due to the version of your mySQL, I really am no pro with support with mySQL related issues but that is my guess. Reason being, when I installed a demo on my host(Hosted by mself) it worked fine.
