Join Date: Jul 2006 Posts: 274  | Can someone tell me how to create a download link? I have a software exe. file and I want to make it possible for visitors to download this file. How do I make a download link? I've uploaded the exe. file, then linked to it, but that doesn't seem to work. I know this is probably a really basic qestion but I can't figure it out. Thanks in advance.  | ||||

| it should be like www.adminfusion.com/forums/uploads/filename.exe and it should just download when they go there that usually works for me  | ||||

| try variations, such as just http://yourdomain/yourfile.exe Also check its exe not EXE

| no. But remember, except for the www.domain.com part, the rest of the path is case sensative. So, if the file is named FileOne.exe then these won't work: fileone.exe Fileone.exe fileOne.exe FILEONE.exe et'cetera. | ||||
