| I bought a camcorder! Yes, I went down to the BestBuy store and got myself a Sony DCR-SR80. I also got a tripod (7500 Pro) and a UV filter. I will now be making videos for youtube and livevideo.com. Stay tuned!

| Very cool. I just got my first digital camcorder. I went the cheapy route, so I can "test-drive" it. If I find myself using it religiously I'll upgrade then. I'm hoping to get a tripod, an extra battery pack, an adapter (so I could charge while recording) and a remote for it. | ||||

| Yes, I have been very happy with the performance of this device! I purchased an open-box item and all it had missing was the lense cap. They gave me 12% discount, which basically made my tripod free. Lense caps are only $4.95 so I think I made out okay. I plan on making a few cooking show episodes. I never thought about vcasting for AF, but it does sound intriguing.(sp?) I tested it out and uploaded a small video with my dog as the star.
