Hello Everybody,

I am planning on a new website. There is nothing "new" in here to keep as a secret. So i tell my plan.

The site's going to be a Newsletter Sender Site.

What's the Purpose ?
1) User comes and registers.
2) He can login and add more email addresses of subscribers
3) He also a link where the people can subscribe/unsubscribe for his newsletter
4) He selects "Send Newsletter" from the menu.
5) Selects a newsletter template
6) Types in his messages
7) Sends it right away.

This will be the main motive of the site. But more features may be added later.

What i want to know is : -
1) Do these sound good ?
2) Are there already many sites like this ? If so, please do link to them.
3) What more features should be present to make it better ?

I'd seriously recommend running the idea past your host first as it's their server that will be blacklisted when your site is used to send out unsolicited mail in very large proportions.

If the internet was a spam free place then i love your idea, it would be very useful indeed, unfortunately i just see it being abused and pulled by your host as quick as they can. sorry
