Cell Phone Service

What cell phone service does everyone have? I have been with Sprint PCS (now a part of Nextel) for six years and for me, they've been really good. I've only lost a handful of calls in that time and they offer some good plans. I just had to renew because I wanted to buy a new phone and get a decent discount so I'm signed up with them for another two years. How about everyone else? Do you like the cell phone service you are with now? I know all of these companies (T-Mobile, Verizon, etc.) have you sign a contract if you want a good deal but does anyone feel like they are stuck due to this? I'm just curious as to what other people's experiences are.

I've only been with two providers over....oh 5 years or so. The first was Cingular. They started off pretty good, but quickly went downhill, at least for me. The signal became weaker, sometimes would fade completely...and the customer service was pretty poor. I moved to Verizon and have been with them for 2 years now. Great service - never had any problems with either signal or support.

I've read about Verizon before...You'll notice that they typically have the highest prices on the market. But, if you look at overall signal strength and what not, they excel there by a long shot over competitors

I am with Telus (a canadian company) is pretty good no complaints so far. I do like how this company operates and their support is perfect. You get a response inmediately and no need to wait for it.

I use Sprint PCS but as soon as my contract is up I'm ditching them. I've had way too many problems with their customer service and trying to get my discount on my plan. Not to mention where I travel to a lot there's not very good reception. So I'll probably go with Verizon as it works perfectly where I go (my Uncle has Verizon and zero problems).

Using Cingular right now.
My brother has Verizon, and he likes it a lot better.

I've been with Verizon for almost 1.5 years now and I'm very happy with them. There was only one place that I can think of where I either had no signal at all or was told that I had to roam the network. That was in Keene, Texas while I was visiting some ex-friends.

I have Cingular...not to great but it works when I need it to so I am not complaining. Verizon is better around here but it isn't worth the hassel of re-buying everything.
