| Favorite FTP Program In the past, I've been a big fan of SmartFTP as it was provided free of charge and it was a program I could refer my clients/customers to when they were in search. As of late, however, the program seems to be a bit on edge so I need to search for a new FTP program to cover for SmartFTP. With that, what is *your* favorite FTP program? Have you ever had issues with the software? Also if you know of a couple free FTP programs, feel free to make them known  .  | ||||

| I myself like SmartFTP's interface. But I too notice quite a few issues with it. I tried FileZilla on Ubuntu, but like the interface of SmartFTP more.

| FileZilla looks to have the same basic interface, so I'll give that a shot. I've had too much trouble with SmartFTP and it freezing on my system, which shouldn't happen. The CPU is an Athlon64 and there's 2GB's of RAM in this machine and no other program has an issue . | ||||

| I got about the same setup as you except mine is a Dual Core Anthlon64. I love FileZilla. I have tried quite a few FTP programs and FileZilla is the one I keep coming back too. It is simple and powerful. | ||||

| From my experience, CuteFTP is nice, however, not all customers can afford to pay $40-$60 for an FTP program and even those that can won't .CuteFTP makes some good software, though even it is testing at times depending on your setup. | ||||
