Favorite Social Media Features?

Choosing from *any* of the social media websites online today (MySpace, Hi5 etc), what are your favorite features? What do you like best about each or individually?

Personally, I'm not a MySpace fan, it's just too cluttered for me and going through multitudes of classes to modify a table border is a waste of time. I've yet to really encounter one I've found to be useful.

Dada.net seemed nice at first...and then I registered and now I'll be lucky to visit the website again. It's probably one of the worst websites I've seen, next to MySpace. Not to mention the fact that if you don't fill out everything little detail, they have a nice little (hardly readable on higher resolutions) info bar that will pester you until you do! When I tried, it would never save my information. So much for that .

Anyway, enough rambling here. If you're a user, what's your favorite? What features do you like most? What do you dislike?

I dislike most all of them now.

Liked facebook when it was just for colleges and didn't have the stupid intrusive applications all over the place. Now I get "Zombie Invitations" every day, just obnoxious.

I look for simplicity and just a nice open feeling, with no stupid crap.

I agree. Facebook was nice when I could just login and not have to worry about all the junk messages, however, it's now turning into MySpace really. The only difference, there's not a profile editor that breaks every code of web standards online .

The only social networking system that I seriously enjoy using is Virb, which is, in my opinion, the most creative + professional of them all. It not only has a great set of features (such as the profile customization options, modules, etc), but it's just... clean, which is something that a majority of the other social networking systems are most definitely not.

That said, one of my favorite aspects of Virb are the profile customization features/options.

Yeah, seriously. It gets old, and VERY quickly.

I agree, Virb is actually quite nice. That reminds me, I actually signed up with them a LONG time ago and really never did anything with my account...perhaps I'll look back into it since you mention it .

I don't think I've ever heard of virb or at least I don't remember. I use facebook the most out of most sites like that though I do get sick of all the application requests I get. If we're including sites like Digg in this category then thats probably my favorite.

Digg is nice, but favoritism comes into play when getting Dugg is what you're after .
