Office Jobs

So who all here works an office job? I know some of us probably only work from home with our sites and other things but not all of us have gotten to that stage. That is ultimately my goal and could probably make it if I did but I'm pretty greedy and don't want to live on bare minimums.

So that being said, do you have an office job? What do you do? Do you like it? Etc.

I have an office job. I work as a sales rep for a natural gas company. I specialize in commercial accounts and have gotten pretty good at it. I enjoy it but trying to move further up the ladder as there are some sweet ass positions that pay a great salary with a sick bonus on top.

I am one of those who are fortunate to work out off a home office. I have worked at home for close to 4-5 years now.

I do miss working in the office sometimes. I miss having the interaction with others, IM and phone calls are not the same.

You find IT jobs boring, and you're a website developer by choice?

I kinda have an office job. I'm in a different office quite a bit though, as I'm a consultant. I also work from home a fair bit, but it all depends on my project. Anyhow, I'm a Senior Systems Engineer in C#/ASP.NET for a consulting company. Basically that means I'm a senior level programmer, do the design work on applications and generally have a team of developers that I give work to. I love it. The job changes about every 6 months or so, so it keeps things interesting.

We have "offices", but many times I am not in them. Luckily I can work anywhere with my laptop and Blackberry.
The main 2 companies are a small chain of live entertainment bar/restaurants, and a corporate special events company that works with national and international clients.

Also, I do a ton of traveling to the different bar locations and wherever the corporate events are - so many times mobile and working out of a hotel room or wireless connection.
