How long did it take to think of your domain name?

Join Date: Jan 2008 Posts: 185  | How long did it take to think of your domain name? I think it took me 1 to 2 weeks to make my sites domain name. Neocrisis. The reason it took me so long was because i wanted to have a unique name that means nothing. Google is unique name that means nothing. A unique name that means nothing allows me to have a wide range of content on my site. A friend of mine had to buy a new domain because he switched site content and he had a domain named sqaureff.com **a example** but he now wants to make a site about guns **a example**. Sqaureff.com does not relate to guns, so he has to buy a new domain name. So i think it's worth it to spend a good amount of time on deciding on a domain name.

| It took me like 10-15mins i knew my subject dalmatians, i thought dalmatian.com .co.uk etc none free next up dalmatian forum nope dont want forum in the name dalmatianfaq didnt like it too long to say then i deprived dalmatianHQ from dalmatianfaq | ||||

| 1st one was the closest one I could come to Phenomenalwomen.com which was already taken. About 5 minutes? The 2nd one came to me in my sleep. I woke up and went to godaddy to look it up. Just my luck, it was available! | ||||
