LOL - I hear ya - but I do think I'd rather a President Hillary Clinton... 1st choice (my personal selection) thus far I'd have to go for a President McCain.

Obama '08 (I'm British but living in NY) I really think that Obama will be more transparent. Bush wont even release the white house guest signing in book - now that's scary... what does he have to hide?

Hillary is a will never be as transparent IMO.

But I can't even vote here anyway!

Obama is about as liberal as they get. I'm about sick and tired of government. Bush has went against his conservative principles and increased the government ten fold since getting in office. I'm sure as hell not going to vote for someone that is running on the platform of more government. I pay enough taxes already.

With that being said, I'll probably be voting Libertarian this year. I like John McCain as a person but his policies are a bit meh. This whole war thing has to end

I think McCain is a decent guy too. But he has no clue about the economy. He admitted it very clearly.

Obama connects with people and is a true gent. He will mobilize people.

Hitler mobilized people too. (I am in no way saying Obama is in anyway like Hitler, my point is that just because he mobilizes people does not mean it's a good thing).

His issues are bunk, tax and spend. I'd rather have a "unmobilized" country than a country united around tax and spend.

Let me think, do nothing and let the economy crumble even further whilst the tax cuts to the richest stay cut and the middle class lose their homes and their family abroad...

OR

Come together, mobilize for change and transparency in Washingon so you can see where your money is going.

I just don't understand how even the weakest republican doesn't care about transparency and tax breaks for the rich. These 2 things when fixed will help the economy massively.

Here's one of the facts I heard during a recent debate:

less than 5% of the country makes more than $200,000 yet the bush tax breaks will remain in place.

Who needs the tax breaks more ? Those making over 200k or those about to lose their homes and who are barely getting by, uninsured and their kids starving - this is no joke it's happening.

Your tax money is paying for the tax breaks of the rich. Why don't you care? Are you one of the 5% making 200k+ ?

Why don't you care that your tax money has been squandered in war, and in Bush rewarding his buddies with contracts in Iraq. I know of people working there making $250,000 tax free - and this comes directly from your tax money?

Clearly the rich are getting richer, the poor are getting poorer and so far only 1 candidate is calling for much greater transparency. The rich have enough money - time to stop screwing the poor people... and to stop the corruption in Washington

Obama '08

So people who got rich from their own accord and hard work are now going to be punished and taxed a higher percentage of their hard-earned money? Sounds unfair to me...

Also, "Transparency" isn't going to change our economy, its a buzzword to get votes just like anything else.
