I'm not so much interested in the % of the general population that uses the Alexa toolbar as much as I am the % of AF members who do...The reason I ask is because our Alexa ranking is actually phenomenal considering our traffic and age. It's at 62,000 right now and still increasing...we have averaged about 20,000-30,000 or so for the last couple weeks...

I know that Alexa rankings can be influenced pretty easily if somebody who frequents a site uses the toolbar, but I don't use it...I don't know anybody who does...Just makes me think that somebody at AF uses it and visits often...We do get a fair amount of traffic, but not enough to be ranking 30,000 or so, imo...

Dont use it myself and them results are pretty good Ryan so will be interesting to se ehow many of the members do use it and how much it is influencing your ranking.

I use Firefox, I don't use the Alexa toolbar but I do use the A9 toolbar which is similar. Not sure if Alexa counts it or not for their stats. But it's a nifty tool bar, has a little drop down menu of the Alexa stats for whichever site you're currently viewing.

I started using it a while ago, I installed it to see how far I could sway my website and the websites I visit, though there isn't a direct link. Seeing as mine just started raising towards the end of this month (now), yet I've been using the toolbar since the beginning of this month.

I use the Alexa toolbar and yes I use it to increase my Alexa rating on my sites. Of course as an added bonus, sites I visit get to share in the Slexa glory. Alexa ranking doesn't really mean anything but it sure looks good whenever your site is under 100,000.

I have been using FireFox more often recently and I also have the A9 toolbar installed on Firefox.

no, that is y I don't use it... Altho thay have sister sites that have a toolbar for FF
