What's New?

So what has everyone been up to the past several months? I'm not sure how many people that would remember me are still around but I do see some familiar names.

Any new sites you guys (and gals) are running? As for me nothing big has changed in the way of forums or websites. A few ideas running around my head but that's always happening.

Now that the weather is getting a little more chilly, I will be at my desk more and maybe I can get some stuff done from my long list of "to-do's".

For me the main new thing has been The biggest Boards and Political Disgust (both in signature). One is a big directory and webmaster forums for all forums on the internet and the other is a blog. Both have taken off nicely!

Thanks everyone! Since going back to school last October I have found less and less time for myself and some of the projects I had planned. I wonder what I did with all that time before going back to school.

This past summer was negatively eventful for me. Part of the reason I had not returned in awhile was because I was admitted to the hospital with a rare condition called Lemierre Syndrome. Basically it is a blood infection that spreads to other organs and in my case it happened extremely fast. Before the doctors figured out what was going on, they had pumped me with tons of antibiotics and various medicine to try to stop what was happening. Due to being in a medically induced coma, I had trouble standing and walking when I woke up 10 days later. It was really touch and go for several days but thankfully I was able to survive. Of course my recovery is still happening as it will be months before I am past everything. It is unfortunate that sometimes it takes something so negative to help put your life into perspective. I have a whole new meaning for life now and I put aside all the little things and deal with them when what is most important to me (family and friends) has already been front and center.

Sorry for the drama. I know some people here may wonder why I disappeared for such a long time. It certainly was not intentional. I absolutely look forward to getting back to this site and chatting with all the great members here.
