Which is the most famous chat program now?

This one is a simple questions and a polling panel to check which is the most famous chat program now. There are many chat sites that you may be using. my usage depends on the use. If it is official I prefer pidgin and when to chat with friends I prefer Gtalk. Now please tell me which one is your favorite? So which Chat service are you use more often ?
Yahoo -- Yahoo Messenger
Google -- Gtalk
MSN -- Hot mail

Advance thanks for any replies.

yeah. it depends where you are located. depends on what you are using it for.. there are boundaries according to culture use and so.. in the states.. i think it's still msn chat.. other parts of the world, it is still yahoo messenger..

I would say Skype is the most popular protocol these days, but as for clients that can run multiple IM accounts, I use digsby.

I assume that, it's Yahoo!. Yahoo messenger is popular chat software and it is more often used than others.
