Just an odd fact about me. I am wondering if there are any other Martial Artists about?

I was just promoted to Black Stripe in Tae Kwon Do this morning, in a nutshell I'll be promoted to a Black Belt in September if all goes well. I've been studying Tae Kwon Do since 2002 when I lived in Canada, when I moved back here to the US I got involved in a school nearby that pratices ITF style Tae Kwon Do. I stopped in 2003 due to surgey I had and started again in April 2004 at the same Studio and I have been going strong since.

I have a brown belt in Karate, but I quit. I now train more MMA-style with a powerlifting friend of mine (he was an all-american wrestler and boxer). I doubt we ever compete in anything big, though. We mainly do it for fun.

How long has it been since you studied Karate?

It's been a couple of years since I quit.

I took Aikido when I was younger, I think the belts go:
White, Yellow, Green, Blue, Orange, Brown, Black.

There were Red tags in there somewhere as well, I got to Orange I think.

study and practice Jiu-Jitsu. the art of fighting on the floor. grapling and submissions. on and of for about 5 years now. every fight ends up on the floor and once we hit the ground its a wrap lol

After I earn my Blackbelt I would like to expand to Aikido as well as continue to study Tae Kwon Do.

I took 1 month of TKD. It was actually a self defence class for my Police & Fire explorers group.

I went to Vegas, and all I got was this Blister. - true story!

Hahahaha...police explorers. How'd that work out? The reason it's funny is because back in the day (like 3 years ago), there was a big battle of the bands that came around annually. We played it one year, but it was too stupid to do it again. For security, they had the police explorers and they were a bunch of skinny geeks. My friend (the powerlifting, wrestler who is no my sparring partner) and I always joked about how many explorers were needed to split us up if we were to start fighting.
