Pros: Great staff and great members. Plenty of knowledgable people always willing to help. Some great articles have been written by B-B members too. Lots of free skins and graphics. Friendly and helpful environment for admins of all software platforms. Con: I think the cross-posting of articles from other sites seriosly detracts. And we've got too many graphics forums, which are split over two different cats. The scripts forum should be nixed, and instead there should be a mods/hacks subform for each BBS that has a section here. Also, there should be a hosting discussion forum. Also, in the quest to facilitate admins of all BBS, the board seems to have catered to somewhat smaller ones like UseBB and MyBB, while missing larger and more widely used ones like SMF and YaBB. | ||||

I find that sometimes it's very hard to decide where a subject belongs because of the amount of forums covering very similar subjects. It might be worth combining a few of them together to make it less confusing.

My only peeve is the category and forum structure. I don't believe it's as neat as it could be. Some forums could be made into subforums and some forums can be deleted...etc..etc..

Not agreeing that the scripts forum should be subdivided as the activity in there is very little still, but as/when it expands so will the forum. Agree with Danny over the grammar, it is a problem we are aware of and strive to combat

As I said, it's not such a big deal in every day normal posts, but in official announcements and suchlike it can be a little confusing

| Title: Veteran Join Date: Sep 2005 Posts: 533 Location: USA ![]() | Great feedback everyone! Yes sometimes the grammar is hard to decipher, there have been many times that I have had to guess-read here but I understand that it is due to some language differences. I also agree with gprime that instead of so many graphics board there should be a couple of mod/hacks ones, I've seen many on other boards that were popular with coders. I also understand what Shellspeare said about low activity, but the activity will increase with more lure IMO, and even I would be interested in a coding forum which allows many subforums for all types of coding including HTML, Javascript, CSS, PHP, CGI etc.
