| There is a new msn 8.0 beta and it ROCKS!!!! i love msn and yahoo but i have 8.0 now for msn and i love it 50000 times more than 7.5...8.0 hasnt been released for download yet...people have only got invites and im really glad i got mine!

| I use Yahoo because I find it to be more stable than MSN. I've also found that my friends don't randomly move up and down my list because they've changed their screen-name to something stupidly long and pointless.

Join Date: Nov 2005 Posts: 518 | I have found that yahoo is kind of a bloatware compared to the others and probably the less intuitive user interface of them all... I only use it in the ocassions that my mom wants to talk trough our webcam with my sister who now lives in Germany. Most of the time I'm with my friends chatting in ventrilo (voice software) more than I use any IM.

| I like Yahoo because it's convieniant and simple, and because of the username thing, but I have to say MSN beats all others on cool gadjets for IMing, I don't talk alot of them because I have a tendency to get annoyed with people who buzz me and then have nothing to say, but for the people who actually like to chat I'll type their ears off!  BTW, could anyone give me the link for the MSN 8.0 beta? I've been trying to get to it from all over the web but my firewall must be preventing me, I'd like to see if it'll load from here.

| I don't trust MSN at the moment after youngest brother downloaded the lastest version. I did a virus scan on my computer and it came up with a trojan that was linked to MSN messenger. I know there's been one going around saying that it's version 8.0 but I trust him that he wouldn't have accepted that one. So we're all back to using Yahoo.
