I've never been contacted other than in a receipt/invoice fashion, and I would hope that to never change. If they want me, they can (and do) get me on login, or they can phone. Cause I'm never going to click a link actively asking me to login for whatever that comes in an email.  | ||||

| Thanks for the advice Shells. I've heard both good and bad things aobut Paypal and, even though I use it regularly (I'm an avid ebayer), I try to heed warnings that I hear. Like others, I've had the scam e-mails asking for my login details and password but have luckily ignored. Others who may not be so internet savvy haven't. I was going to link my bank account to my Paypal account but after reading this I won't be. I'll also be passing this article onto my father (another avid ebayer). Thanks again for the advice.

| Anytime I use paypal too but i believe as long as you are 'aware' of the possibilities relating to it you do have a better experience overall.

| Shells - do you have your bank account linked to it? Or is there another way to place money into your Paypal account? I want to put more money in there but now I'm reclutant to use either my bank account or my credit card (not that there's a lot on my credit card!) You seem pretty clued up on this so I thought I'd ask you.
