| its strange that all of these sites were very very big sites but i have never heard of any of them. Must have been before my time.

Join Date: Sep 2005 Posts: 10,246 Location: Athens, GA | WebVan and MVP.com are definitely the two that really stood out for me...I thought webvan was such a good idea...I even knew people that used it and I've seen it in action, was a great system that appeared to work well to me...but it sounds to me like they just put way too many resources into it...resources they couldnt fund in the long run

Join Date: Oct 2005 Posts: 22 | I have heard of most of these. I actually remember the downfall of Go.Com. They were growing at a very rapid rate, I remember they were also going to start hosting (they would be one of the first) But then suddendly they disappeared.
