Anyway to stop this?

When ever I log into my site's email accounts I find tons of spam messages. Most of them consist of this:

Its more than just that. it goes on for like 5 pages. Then it has an attachment at the bottom, which says something about buying a certain stock. Is there anyway to stop this? They are also from different emalling addresses, so i just can't block one email.

I know the feeling. I don't get long emails like that but I'm getting offered cheap viagra about 10-15 times a day. Always different addresses and each eamil goes to three of my accounts

I can't remember the name of the program, but there's a site on the internet that offers you something to get rid of that.

It basically works like a visual confirmation. Someone sends you an email and they receives one in return, if they don't follow the link and input the visual confirmation, you don't receive the email.

It's a paid service if I remember correctly.

The fastest way is to close you email for a month and then you'll be off of the spammers' lists ;p

Just use a spam filter like SpamAssassin- most cPanel servers have that.

I use a program similar to what Fredto mentioned. The program I use is called ChoiceMail One and it sits between the mail server and my e-mail client (Microsoft Outlook). All e-mail comes into that program first and it works on a whitelist/blacklist system. If you are on my whitelist, I get your e-mail. If you are on my blacklist, I don't. If you aren't on either list, I then have to approve or deny your e-mail address. The program allows for this to be done automatically but I prefer to have control over who's on which list. Give them a look as I've been using this for three years and more than 85% of all e-mail I receive is spam. I have never had any spam get to Outlook and past ChoiceMail in that time. Once the program is setup, it simply works.

Well, if you're using cPanel give the SpamAssassin a try, it's pretty good.
