i joined this site because i was told i can get help and stuff for my forum but it doesn't look like anything here i can use unless i have missed something that can be used on an invisionfree site.

I'm dave. welcome to the site. One of my forums started on invisionfree. It was called lostforum.org located on s8.invisionfree.com/lookinglost, btw. I converted it to VB and eventually sold it.

Like Ryan said, there is a lot here that can help you out. Such as administrator concepts, philosophy, dealing with staff, running contests, etc.

I don't think so. You need to have FTP access to your board, to upload the pickup script. IF doesn't allow this. (right?)
