I only got a free PhpBB version though, I don't know if I can do much about it. I made my forum for my small pool of writers, you can drop by www.seriousscribbles.com/forum. I only set that up last week. I have a few newbie questions, I'll make another thread for those. Anyway , hope to meet you guys pretty soon! Thanks! Join Date: Apr 2006 Posts: 413 | Welcome to the forums. I'm not familar with PHPBB, but I know there are alot of user submitted skins. I am not sure how easy the skinning is, but it's fairly easy to make a very nice custom skin if you are even semi good at graphics and html. | ||||

Join Date: Apr 2006 Posts: 6 | Thanks for the welcome! Yeah I downloaded some free PhpBB skins, though I haven't got the chance to try them on the forum. Oh, I remembered, I did that once and uploaded it, but the option for the new template just won't show on my admin page. I ended up deleting it since I only have a limited webspace. I'll try it again though. Right now what I did is just change the color scheme of PhpBB's subsilver template. It doesn't appeal to me much. I'm a newbie in web designing so, I'll find time this weekend to jazz up my forum. | ||||
