Nice skin, pretty decent. Though you might want to try incorporating more tech stuff into it. I Like the logo, simple, but effective.

The only thing i have against it is the phpBB, dont get me wrong, YES it is a very good script, but i think people who are joining your forum might prefer vBulletin, been "up" in the tech world.

I love the domain too, very catchy (for me anyway)

I think the header can be improved, the text on it is a little hard to read.

Colors can have different styles of blue, not very attractive to me.

Yes the forum is open, feel free to register (and do ) - I would also like vBulletin but I don't have a spare $210 or $113 for a leased license.

I'm going to smooth out the logo a bit - nothing major though.

the skin is very smooth and has a nice clean feel to it. Good for your forum niche imo. As mentioned above, i think the banner needs to be improved greatly. if you need help with that, let me know.

The forums look like they are in order, perfect amount for a starting forum. with phpbb, i like the forums that have the mod which shows the latest topic link visible on the index which each of the forums. Makes it easier to access the topics and see what your going into via the index.

And the guest message, well i already said enough about that in your topic about that.

Initial Impression:
The TalkUSB logo is very rough, no anti-aliasing to the logo. The welcome message does not fit with the page structure.

Organization and Feel:
Guest Registration and Message
One of the first things I noticed was this welcome image:

If you're going to have a message telling you to register, add some links so it's easy for that person to do so.

As for the formal guest welcome message, at the time it's this:
I'm going to cut to the chase and update this welcome message as I think it should read.
I'm glad you had a guest welcome message, but it's great to make the guest message more powerful by using vocabulary and formatting to make the user excited. I would also advise taking the blue background that the guest welcome message has behind it and try to make it blend a bit better with the rest of the page.

Forums
As for forums and all that, I don't have any complaints here. You have an introductions forum and a nice number of forums too.


Skin and Modifications:
As I said earlier, the TalkUSB logo is sort of amateur, it lacks anti-aliasing. It doesn't fit with the rest of the style. I'm also not a big fan of stock styles in which you can buy from someone. If you are a designer yourself or you know someone that would design you something custom for a cheap price, I would recommand trying to get something a bit more custom. A unique style is just another reason for someone to register at your forum, and it really helps.

Guidelines and Staff:
I don't have many complaints here either. The rules were very easy to find as there is a link at the top of the screen. You are the only administrator as well, which is exactly as it should be at the stage this forum is at. But some of the rules are unclear. Especially this clause:
I have no idea if my idea of reasonable is the same as your idea, clairify this as well as the vague parts in the rules (Several clauses).

Recommended Changes:

• Fix the logo, make it more professional and fix the jaggy problem with it.
• Try to make a style more custom and unique to your community, it is a huge help.
• Fix the image guest message, make it linkable and fix the problems with the formal guest message.
• Fix the vague parts of the rules.
