Well, I switched to vB about 3 weeks ago and I'm enjoying it so far with the site. It's been 3 months so I figured I'd see what you guys can say about the site now. Basically, its a nice relaxing F-Body site, a bit different than the others in the sense that we aren't as focused on technical help yet, since our name isn't as large as most of the forums, but we're all for having fun, posting videos, pictures of F-bodies, etc...

Only thing I still have to do is add a few modifications, but I've already added:
-Welcome Header
-vBpicgalery
-Users online last 24 hrs
-vBarticles (haven't released it on the site yet, but she's installed)

Any Comments and criticism are appreciated.

Initial Impression
I like the welcome header. It stands out for guests. I really like how you have the benefits of membership in bullet points instead of a paragraph. Users are more likely to read short statements like that than a long paragraph. I also like your header graphic.

Organization and Feel
These are changes I always recommend about the organization of your forums. I don't like to see the site news at the top of the forum. The reason is that guests and new users frankly don't really care what is happening at your site, they want to introduce themselves and then join the discussions. Regular visitors will care enough to scroll down to the bottom of the page to check out whats new with the site. Which brings me to my next point. I think the Introductions forum should be the first forum because its the first thing a new user should see. That way they can introduce themselves first and feel like they're a part of the community before they jump into discussion.

I also think a few forums could be combined, particularly in the technical category. Several of the forums there have <50 posts and this looks unappealing to the potential member. Maybe combine some of those and it will make the forum "appear" more active.

Skin and Modifications
The skin is pretty nice for a free skin. It does fit with the theme of your forum and I'm glad to see you have custom forum icons.

One thing I notice about the skin is that the header isn't clickable - make it so that the header image brings you to the forum home.

I really like the couple noticeable modifications you have on your forum. I don't know a whole lot about cars but it looks like the timeslips is for like different information about the users vehicles, which is a very cool addition. I'm also glad to see you have a gallery, something every car-related forum needs.

Guidelines and Staff
I like your set of rules and it was in a place that all the new members should see, the intro forum. Nice work there.

As far as staff goes, my first impression is that you have too many - 90 registered users and 7 or so staff members, but if it works for you, thats fine.

Recommended Changes

• Move intro forum to the top and site news to the bottom
• maybe combine some of the forums to make the forum appear more active
• make the header clickable

I was meaning to make the header clickable, but forgot about it, thanks for reminding me.
I have only 2 "global" moderators, and the others are just technical mods (for each generation of the F-Body).
