My football forum was set up in March (17th) 2002, we are nearly 5 years old now but the past 3 years have been hampered with member fall outs / revotls and hackings to the site. We have now started to grow the site again and we started a fresh in December 2006, we already have 29,000 posts which is pretty good but not as good as it used to be.

I would just like some feedback on the site in this form:

1. Speed Of The Site
2. How well the site looks
3. The appeal of the site (How appealing is it?)

Or anything else you have to say about it.

1. The speed was fine for me, it loaded up with no glitches

2. The site was overwhelmingly green to me. The background, tcat, theads, text, and buttons all green. I would recommend adding a color combination to compliment the green, like a mud/dirt color. A few CSS changes and it will be very nice and clean.

3. The appeal factor...it is there but guests cant see much

On the feedback you wanted:
Speed of site: Decent since you explained that you got hacked a couple of times
How well the site looks: I like how you added grass to the background image.. Very nice
The appeal of the site (How appealing is it?) It is pretty attractive although i wont register (sorry) because i cant promise i will post as much because too much forums to go to

Overall, it's a nice looking website. However, one thing that I would suggest doing is changing the color(s) that are being used in the header; they really don't blend with the rest of the theme (it's a different shade of green). Also, the, "Register" link in the navbar is quite...obvious, if you know what I mean. You may want to consider making it smaller; at the moment, it sticks out a little bit too much.

I really like the green, grassy background image; that adds a nice touch.
