I like the look. It is basic, BUT it is also very easy to see the different sections and categories. I might suggest a nicer logo for the upper left, maybe with some graphics. I would add some custom icons that are comedy themed or at least a little nicer then the basic circles or icons.

I don't see a quick reply box or location stream on the bottom. do you plan on adding shout boxes or top 10 poster lists? Looks good otherwise. seems very clean

No guest message for non members. I am big on having something if possible. Other then that you are able to view and see everything else, which is a great way to preview the site.

very good - right up top and easy to find. You might want to add to the rules, especially on a comedy themed site and just be a little bit more specific to what you will be looking for. I did not see any staff info, but I don't know if you have that set up yet. I like the suggestion and bug forum.

1) "Comedy Central - Chat about your favourite comedies and comedians all in one place!" is WAY WAY to long and it stretches the location line way to long each time. IMO I would change to just "Comedy Central" - also, is favorite spelled correctly? 2) I always suggest putting the location line on the bottom of the page also. I dislike having to scroll all the way back up to the top of the page to click on one of the location links after reading a long thread.

yes, "favourite" is the correct English spelling for an English forum

Thanks for your review, some of them that you have picked up on I am looking into getting sorted on the forum soon

The banner I have been thinking of a centre one with pictures of famous and popular comedians around in the image.

The guest message I completly forgot to put in lol so thanks for suggesting that as you reminded me lol.

Planning on getting a quick reply box sorted within the next few days as I prefer that myself to having to click new reply all the time, also by location stream, not quite sure what you mean by that?

By location line do you mean the link back to the main forum index after reading a thread?

having it on the bottom of the forums also makes it SO MUCH easier to get around vs. having to scroll all the way back up to the top. Especially with long long threads with lots of posts.

Thats a nice forum. you should switch to freepowerboards though.
I used to be with mybb, the support there was terrible.

1)The logo is...AWESOME. Great job!!! My personal opinion is to keep is justified to the left like you have it
2) the non member message is also great. A suggestion - make the word "register" and "FAQ" BOLD so people will see it.
3) Who's online box - NICE!!!
4) Quick Replay Box - NICE - your members will love having it. i suggest sending out a mass email about it and making and announcement post about it (if you have not already). Once they know about it you will probably see posting increase right away because of the ease of using it.
5) I dont really know the mybb program, but for me and my forum it is usually putting the code for the navigation on the bottom in the site footer coding. so the "Comedy Central / Comedy General / Chit Chat / The Letter "F"!" would show on the bottom also.
