We built our own site because we were sick of the administration at another website. That being said, we did not have any special ideas in mind. We wanted a place of freedom and entertainment. Thus, section02 was born. It gives users the ability to upload and download files, play arcade games, upload and view gallery images, chat with a great and entertaining community, and just be yourself without having to worry about a moderator breathing over your shoulder. I've designed this website to meet the user's requirements. I trust I've done just that so far. This site does not allow guests so I've added an account for you to view the site with. Please let me know what you think. What don't you like? What could be better? It is an adult website, but not just because of content. It was made to keep younger, more immature children out. You don't have to let them read posts (even though I recommend this also), but at least let them see that forums exist. This is a big turn off for more...if I can't see anything there as a guest, the odds of me registering are very small. If I were you, I'd move your logo over to the left...it just looks strange at the right, at least to me. The color of the post buttons needs to be changed. I'm referring to the light blue. It doesn't fit at all. Other than that, I really like it a lot. Skin is great, navigation is very easy. Good job.

The logo does look strange on the left side. Question though is why have a different logo for you Final Fantasy skin? That does seem to make sense to me. If you are trying to just get members to sign-up hide your forums, but I agree with Ryan also, if I can't at least see something I won't join. Along that lines, you need to create a header message that lets people know what your site is all about. If I landed on your site, I have no idea what Section2 is and what makes me want to join. I do like the skin, very clean and like Ryan states easy navagation. demojames

I will be moving the logo to the left as well. Talked about that with one of my staff members yesterday. Haha. The skin you're viewing was designed through the idea of the Opera browser. Hence the reason why some of it looks weird or doesn't seem to match. The light blue buttons are the same mix. We'll toy with it though. I'd like to see if we could make a better match. As for the Final Fantasy skin, that wasn't suppose to be public. Haha. That's a style I'm toying with for another website. =D

What about Opera were you modeling this after? I just discovered the new skin browser the other day (late - I know! I remember looking at skins somewhere around 7.5 but never got around to installing any with the old setup). Those icons look great but like the others said, a little out of place. With what you described I was expecting something a little more exciting with the design. This is a little ho-hum, corporate looking, boring old blue IMO. But if your members like it then that's all that matters. I would collapse some of those info sections at the bottom of the home page. They're taking up a lot of space, and I'm not sure members really need to know all that (we could debate that, I'm sure).
