Just recently converted my site over from PhpNuke(CMS)+bbtonuke(Forum) to Joomla and VBulletin. InfernalRC is a RC related website with News updates, Document and RC Databases, RC Term dictionary, Forums and much more.

I love the design! It's clean, crisp, and very professional-looking, which is always refreshing to see. I love the idea of the simple black + white color scheme, and it really does go along nicely with the topic of the forum. I also see that you used a little blue in the header, which also looks nice. Speaking of the header, I really do like the logo; very creative.

The only thing that I would change, however, are some of the forum icons (such as New Thread and Post Reply). IMO, they really just don't blend in with the rest of the design. It goes from black and white, to bright blue. While it's not "a must" to change the color, I suggest using a different color; something that would blend in better.

Other than that, it looks great!

Alright, it took me a little while to find the forum rules (or, Terms of Service), but I did find them, and they are very well-written. They are not only clear, but every important aspect of board conduct has pretty much been covered. I also read the Privacy Policy, which is always another plus. My only advice in this department would be to make the location of these two agreements more obvious (ie: links in the top navigation bar, links in the, "Site Announcements" forum, etc).

As for staff members, it looks like you have two moderators, an administrator, and a founder (yourself). While this is okay, I would highly recommend getting a few more moderators. At the moment, it looks like each of the two moderators are moderating QUITE a few forums each.

Overall, I like how the forum is organized. However, the, "Site Announcements" forum is the 3rd forum in the, "Off Topic" category. I suggest that you create an individual category for the announcements forum, and place it at the very top of the index page. This will make it easier for guests and members to find. Navigation-wise, the only thing I would change is the location of the links for the TOS and Privacy agreements. Other than that, everything looks good.
