Join Date: Aug 2007 Posts: 153 Location: I'm a nomad | It looks pretty good at first glance. I'm an amatuer photographer (you'll regularly see me with my rebel bopping around town). Unfortunately I don't get out to do it as much as I would like. The design looks great and is integrated well into the rest of the site. As for friendliness, I can't tell yet. But I think it looks pretty solid so far. You are starting with only 3 categories and while I think that a few is good, You may be able to expand it just a little bit. But I understand why you are keeping it to 1. One thing you may want to do is have a thread or forum dedicated to people showing off their photography. People love to share their photos and right now, I wouldn't know if I was allowed to. | ||||

Join Date: Jun 2006 Posts: 585 Location: New Delhi, India  | Design: The design looks ok and well integrated, though you might want to show recently posted photos on top of the forum to make it look more interesting and appealing, because right now for a photography forum it looks a bit dull. Organization and Navigation: While for most my advice is to keep the number of forums to bare minimum, in your case I would actually advise you to add more categories! Because with only three sections and that too one for Announcement and another for off topic discussions; I am bit confused with what your forum is actually about! I mean even my travel forum has a photography category and just having only a single category devoted to the actual niche of the forum isn't really a good idea! | ||||
