It has plenty of flaws. Like activity, navigation, downtime, and such. I want a harsh review that can open my mind to things that I haven't thought of or noticed. The forum has been around for over a year and has had active and inactive times. At the moment its slow, so I want to know what changes to make so I can return the forum to something worth posting at.

(First of all, id like to say that i am reviewing only the forum and not the front page) You forum layout looks great! One of the things that pulls it down is probably the logo. I can see Anime Gerad written on it, but it's hardly visible. Try using some different font and size. Also, you could try a different colour that would blend in with the background image. You could also try putting it on the left of the woman. It would have been difficult for elder members of the forums to read the Board description etc. as it is light blue text on off-white background. But seeing the niche, i guess there wouldn't be many elder members. But, you will be pretty surprised about that once you see the average age of your members. Well, i can see a few modification made. But, it's always necessary to install only those hacks/mods/codes that you have need of. You have installed the gallery and that's probably the main hack that an Anime forum needs. There are a couple of others too.

Your welcome message is very friendly, but it is missing some very important things. Try modifying it a bit like: You are either a guest or a member who has not logged in. If you are guest please register(use a clickable link directing to the register page) to have certain extra privelages such as (etc..). And in the same way, ask the guest to log-in if he's a member with a link redirecting him to the login page. Just above this message, there's this very eye-catching message asking us to log-in or register. If you could use this background(the red one) on the previous message and delete this portion, it would be great.

Well, everything is fine in this category. There's only one thing you could modify: The Community Rules tab just below the logo, is almost invisible to all those who can't wait to join or post in your forum. Make it more visible. You could do that by adding it as a Sticky on your Community Resources board. And also, you could add this to every admin/mod's signature.

It's very easy to navigate through your forum. Though, it might not be so for spiders, so you could do with adding a visible site-map just below the Board Statistics.
