We are rapidly growing, with about 100 posts every hour, and 5 members every hour. Also, we got our skin today. It is a modified version of a vBSkins skin. I love the way it came out and I love the header. Of course, if you cannot tell, the forum is for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Hehe, cannot wait for a review. ![]() Overall Ratings per Category Design ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() (4/5)Features and Modifications ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() (2/5)Guest Friendliness ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() (4/5)Guidelines and Staff ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() (2/5)Organization and Navigation ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() (4/5)

The color scheme is VERY easy on the eyes. While it's not really colorful and screaming "look how unique I am," it fits your niche well. Seeing as how Call of Duty 4 is a military based game (to my understanding), the brown makes me think camouflage. Now that I mention camouflage, have you thought about a camouflage themed skin? Using vBulletin allows you to have many forum skins available for your members to use. Giving them a choice to fit their likings and needs will help keep them around. For example, while I like the current theme and colors, I'd be more obligated to stick around while jamesgilfoyle wouldn't come back. Just something to think about.Features and Modifications Category Rating: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() (1/5)Category Comments: The forum itself doesn't really have any features or modifications that stand out to me (if there is any installed that contributes to the community). Have you thought about installing a media module? Allowing members to post screen shots or pictures of their scores. I haven't played Call of Duty, so I don't really know what kind of features it has available for the players. But if it allows replays and screen shots, adding a media feature would allow members to share their favorite moments in the game or clan matches. I don't even know if that's possible, but it was popular feature for a number of Counter-Strike forums that I was a member of. I tried looking at the "Match Listing" feature/section (or whatever it is), but I couldn't really figure out what exactly it had to offer because it's not available for browsing for guests. Guest Friendliness Category Rating: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() (3/5)Category Comments: There is a welcome message, but I believe it's the default message and it doesn't really have a warm welcome. You should edit the message to fit your community better. Maybe include a message about your matchmaking service and other features you feel are benefits or joining your community. As far as guest friendliness, all the forum subforums are available for guests to view, so guests have chance to see what kind of content you have available. The only feature that I see available is the matchmaking service, but it's not available for guest viewing. So, they don't really have a chance to see what it really has to offer. Guidelines and Staff Category Rating: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() (1/5)Category Comments: You have a FAQ available for everyone with the rest of the menu tabs, but it's just the basic information about the forum. Nothing really specific about your community. You should add to it and include information about things pertaining your community. For example, you could include reasons why the matchmaking service is not available for guests and give a brief description of what it's about. You could even include basic information about the game if you wanted. I know you're still a new community, but several gaming communities (with clans) have little clan histories within the FAQ and it also includes information on how to join the clan if someone was interested. There are only three staff members, but you guys seem to be actively involved in the community. Organization and Navigation Category Rating: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() (5/5)Category Comments: There aren't that many subforums, which makes the community look very clean. The forum is organized very well. The subforum titles are straightforward, so it's easy to find what you're looking for. Overall, I find that the forum is incredibly simple to navigate and the organization of the forum is fantastic. I don't really have any room for improvements in these categories. | ||||
