I actually think the overall design of the website is nice, however, if the option is on the table, I would also offer a slightly darker style as the brighter colors may be hard on those with weaker eyesight. I do sometimes wear glasses so it came off as a bit too bright to me, though, it was manageable after looking at it for a bit

As for whether or not I'd join, I would given I was a fan of the TV Series. I don't personally watch it enough to be able to engage in a full-on conversation.

The domain is short and to the point and makes for a perfect domain for such a forum and you seem to be doing well at first glance.

I would also suggest trading links with similar forums. Try finding a few forums that deal with the Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad and so forth. You don't want direct competition, however, if they watch one show, they probably watch others. Most administrators are more than happy to exchange links and you'll probably pick up a few members here and there!
