| Talk Camp Forum Name: Talk Camp URL: http://www.talkcamp.com Launch date: October, 2005 Members: 209 Software: vBulletin 3.5 Additional information: Talk Camp was originally started because I wanted a great place for summer camp staff to get together to share ideas, techniques, and just talk about camp. The only other forum I know of that has this topic is the official American Camp Association forum. The problem with that site is that they only have one forum for camp counselors. I felt this was insufficient, so I took it upon myself to create a more extensive website dedicated to the non-administrative camp staff. Since we've opened back in October, we grown fairly well (in my opinion). We recently passed 7,000 posts and 200 members. Everyone is friendly and we love reading each other's ideas and techniques. Waiting 10 months in between camp sessions is not easy, but this site is helping many camp counselors deal with it and improve for the upcoming camp season.
