Hey guys, Here is my review for PunBB

Note: This is based on what I thought on it, Other people may disagree with it! - Also if I made a spelling mistake, My apologies. Havent been at school for a while

Introduction
PunBB is a bulletin board made by a person named Rickard Andersson. His goal was to make a fast board, without any bugs, simple design & overall simple. PunBB's devlopment name was "Pun".

Administration Panel
This in my opinion was the downfall for PunBB, as much as I liked it i felt it was missing something. Its simple but I feel they need to put a little more work into it. Although the plugin side of the Administration Panel is just... GENIUS. You can install plugin's from inside the Administration Panel which I thought was great!

Front Page
The default look for PunBB was simple but a little "too" simple for people (Like Me). The Statistics part of the front page was also simple. You dont need a great deal of information in the Statistics part of the page. There is no real images to the template. Its just pure CSS & Colours.

Threads & Reply
When you click the add thread link, It takes you to a very basic text box where you can enter all your text in. There is no BBcode tools viewable nor smilies (emotions). So if you are going to use this board software you are going to need a little more knowledge about forums before installing it. Otherwise you are going to have to install alot of mods . It has a very basic quick reply also.

Mods & Styles
There are loads of mods & styles out for PunBB. PunBB is more like a shell for you to update and make it to see how you fit. Its just a very basic bulletin board where you put some work into it to make it your own. You can get alot of mods from this website. If you have basic knowledge of CSS you can make a template for this with your eyes closed

My Personal Rating
I think I will give this board software a 6/10 being that it isnt very useful for new people out in the foruming world.
