[EBlah] Mysql beta released
Over the past several weeks, I have been working on a MySQL version of the E-Blah Forum System. This is a "lighter" version of the flat-text system.

You can download the Beta version to test on your own server from the downloads page (under E-Blah SQL Beta).

If you are a users of E-Blah 10.2, you may convert your forum to the MySQL version using the converter built into the installer. There are a few known issues with the converter; however, it should work in transferring over your data for testing nicely. You can read more information about this version and post bug reports on the thread located on the Forum Updates board.

Wow, this forum software seems pretty good, even has ajax thread edit and a nice ACP. Also loads quite fast. I think I will test it myself.

P.S. Are there any converters for it to convert from MyBB?

Yeah the software is very good and the new mysql version actually lacks some of the features the flat file version has!.

Im looking forward to developments with it like

K, I think I will.

The only thing that I don't like about it is that is runs on perl. I would have prefered PHP, as I already know PHP, and IMO it's simpler to use.

No, because it's perl. I prefer using a PHP forums software, so I'll stay with MyBB for now.
