| Forum Junkie ![]() | VikingBoard (or VB) is an interesting and quite promising looking new forum software. When I say "new" it's not that new, they just had a 1 year break between releases. At the moment it is basic, but in the ACP it has all the basic features. It seems quite a promising, if a little basic forum software. If you're interested in trying it, I have a test board here, feel free to register, and play about. To check it's admin CP login with: Administrator Password: admin123 Frontpage - Jolteons Test VikingBoard Obviously I'd appreciate it if you didn't break it, but do, feel free to press a few buttons and get to know it, if you so wish

| Apprentice ![]() | Oooh neat, I really like it. If they ever get out of beta, I'd probably use them.

| Member | Very simple, however, somewhat appealing. How easy it is to customize?

| Forum Junkie ![]() | I haven't looked, but feel free to have a look about the ACP in the demo I have, not sure if it's ACP customizable or not though.

| Member | Coding is much better than I'm used to seeing from "new" forum software. I do have a few issues though: Multiple str_replace statements to replace different things in the same string (str_replace does allow you to use arrays). No multi-language support at the moment. Odd language file setup - languages are stored in two files, and each file contains several classes - each of which is a separate group of language strings. Why define a class just to set a bunch of variables for language strings? It does look promising though.

| Forum Junkie ![]() | Yeah, it's by no means perfect, but it looks promising
