Do your parents know that you own/run a forum?

Do your parents know that you own and/or run a forum? If so, what do they think? Are they supportive - or do they not care enough about your online life to give a damn?

If they're supportive - what do they do to help you?

Yes both my parents know I have a few sites, altho I'm sure they have no idea what that entails..lol

Always Supportive, and no, they don't help.

My parents are kinda supportive, it took a bit of nagging to get my first domain - but now I've got some money in my PayPal I can pay for domains and stuff. Although I did manage to get $60 to help pay for vB this year.

I think my parents have seen my forum and my blog. My dad is sort of "in the know" about the Internet and stuff so he asks me about my stuff online. But I don't think they realize the kind of money you can make from websites... My mom still thinks I need to get a real job, lol.

My parents have no idea about what i do online. mainly as I really cannot be fussed with explaining things...

My mum does know that i have a few online sites & forums, she dosen't really know what goes on though, but she bought me my first domain & yearly hosting when i was 14 for my birthday

My parents know, and they dont really care about what I do, nor can they stop me really, they're somewhat supportive, in fact, initially my dad paid for it but after a few months I started to take over the payments myself from my own pocket.

My mom knows I run a site and own another, but that's all she knows. She seems to wonder how I can call working on a site "work" but it's too much effort to explain it all to her so I just let her have her little "win".

True for me also. I've explained it before, and they're all for it...In fact, my dad has always wanted to start his own business, and I think he's jealous
