The Next step

Hi guys,

My forum is getting bigger day by day and even while the tv show is
of the air (on the moment due to the writers strike) the stable community is still posting.

The google position is great (nr. 1 with many search terms like:
24 forum:
24 forum - Google Search
and
twenty four forum
twenty four forum - Google Search
etc..)

What advices could you provide me to make the forum even better.
I would love to hear your ideas

great site and great work so far. just a few points after a quick glance at your home page.

1) make a welcome message with a short description of what your forum is about, not only does it help welcome new users, it gives an opportunity for you to seed the top of your site with keywords for search engines. Like although you are #1 for 24 forum, you may want to put in your welcome message, "welcome to 24 forum, here you will find out about everything to do with the fox tv show 24. We have the latest Jack Bauer spoilers, upcoming 24 season 7 plot lines, 24 season recaps, and much more.. blah blah blah" you see you can put in static content that helps you come up higher for stuff people may search etc

2) maybe put something more identifiable with the show on the skin or header. when i went there i didn't see anything that i really identified with the show. this may really help your bounce rate (how often people leave your site after only seeing the first page) because people may get there and then not identify your forum with the show and immediately leave

If you are going to do a TV show theme forum it would really help to have a style that has the same feel as the tv show does. When I open that forum up it doesn't say "24".

Your logo is barely readable and hardly gives off the impression "24".

When I think 24 and I go to a forum with it the first thing I'd expect to see is Jack Bauer.

I understand the words guys and thanks.
The reason why I did not place Jack on the page was that I wanted
to have it like the portal of CTU.

in other words this is like the intranet of CTU LA.
But, I will loop where I can perhaps make it more "24"
gonna be hard to keep the skin as clean as now and colours
(black yellow) do not fit. but I am definitely going to see how i can pull it off.

Any more tips

Tried that but it does not look nice.. I have some ideas but it will take
some time before I found the "best" solution.

Any other tips guys?
