momdom is on a distinguished road
Rules?

What rules do you have for your forum regarding people posting links to sites just like yours? Am I being unreasonable to have a rule of no linking to forums just like mine?

I don't think it's unreasonable at all. I allow advertising, but not to other parenting sites. It's a conflict of interest.

As long as links are in signature and member is a contributing genuine member, I allow it. Even if links are posted replies related to genuine queries, ultimately as long it is able to provide value and information which members are looking for, I am ok with that. Even if it means sending traffic to a competitor.
