  | Well on my site we have a lot of active members and posts so to keep the pages loading quickly we do set limits. Avatars can be no larger than 100x100 Signature pics no larger than 300x300 and has to be under 30,000 bytes Profile pics are the same as the avatar size Pm's are set according to usergroup so it varies anywhere from 10 pms - 1000 pms. Attachment size I'll have to look at, I can't remember off hand.

 | Ours are pretty lenient, but I am probably going to have to cut back if we get busier. Most are standard except our avatars are 200x200 and they can have up to I think 300 pms. Admins can have up to 1000 but I am cutting that back cause one of us is horrible about cleaning hers out periodically. |

 | Avatars: 80x80 Sigs: 5 lines, 1 image, 500x200 (admins exempt) PMs: 50 normally, certain membergroups have unlimited (admins always have unlimited) Attachments: up to 6 files totaling up to 750 kb per post. (SMF doesnt allocate each member a certain amount of space, the entire directory is used by everybody and the attachments actually get attached to the post, not the member as well)

| Depends on which site. On my main forum site we enjoy 200 X 200 avatars.
