What host is *site name goes here* using

well is there a way to find out what host a site is using?
well i am asking because i though that there is no real way to find out what host you are using.

i am asking because my friend was showing TV shows on his site, videos were hosted on veoh ect. th TV channel found out and contacted the host and the site was suspended.

any ideas?

and before anyone even asked NO IT WAS NOT ME
to prove it visit my site, its still alive and kicking

you can look up their nameservers on whois.org and then search for the nameservers to see who owns them

If they use private nameservers, you can lookup the IP address and then you can at least see what DataCenter the site is in.
