To be honest, most of the time it happens to be new members that are attention seekers and power hungry that have caused problems on forums I have been on!

I have flamed a lot of them that come on forums with senior members and try to act like smart asses!

On the other hand I have seen old members gang up on new members unfairly and have always put a lot of heat on old time members that don't give new members a fair chance at joining in!

It works both ways, so administrators have to understand this.

I have also seen power hungry moderators ruin forums and censor and lock great threads and this is worse than dealing with problem members for the forum and will destroy it much faster!
