| Forum Addict ![]() | Postfusion Alright, I know i've asked this before but there's got to be a way to get postfusion to work on my invisionfree forums. If I upload the file to my other website, could I somehow use a code and stick the file in my javascript or something to get it to work. I can paste codes in any of these if you are unfamiliar with invisionfree: Document Type: Advanced users only. Can be left blank (At very top) Meta Tags: Advanced users only. Comes before CSS. Can be left blank Javascript: Any content that needs to be between the <head> html tags. Can be left blank Header & Body: Contains the board. Can not be left blank (board header, navigation, board, and stats) Footer: Any content after the copyright. Can be left blank Any ideas? I promise if this doesn't work i'll leave it alone ![]() thanks.

| Forum Junkie ![]() | What, so upload the script part of PF to one of your actual hosting accounts, then hotling to it from your IF, changing the code to try and get it to accept IF? ven if that WAS possible, there is a chance that PF just isn't coded for IF

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I don't think that this would work since PostFusion works like this [I think] The PostFusion script reads the postcounts of members who are registered at PostFusion as subscribers to your site. This data would be read when the PostFusion bot visits the script on your site and presents the data in a format the bot can understand. Then it's saved and processed by the scripts on AF's end. I do not know the specifics, but that's my guess on how it works. So, if you could prehaps write your own script that reads the data from your InvisionFree member's list [and that would require some degree of trust from the AF team as the data could easily be manipulated - maybe the script could be hosted here at AF] and then the script puts it into the same format as the "normal" PostFusion script. That's just my idea anyway...

| AF Lead Developer | To answer your original question, it is simply not possible to use pf on invision free forums. The reason is the file has to be uploaded to the server so that it may have access to the sql database.
