A Simple Guide to PostFusion

So...you've decided to take the plunge into the world of PostFusion? You've made a wonderful choice! PostFusion could be intimidating at first, but once you learn your way around it, it's a piece of cake. Hopefully this tutorial of sorts will guide you through that process.

Getting Your Forums Ready for PostFusion

1. First you will need to make it to the Install Page.
2. Read the Usage Policies completely and indicate that you agree with them at the bottom
3. Select the appropriate forum software using the dropdown box and click Next
4. Follow all installation instructions as given
5. Sit back and wait as the AdminFusion staff approves your forums for PostFusion
   • This process typically takes no longer than one hour, but could take up to 24 hours depending on the time of day

Now you have installed PostFusion to your forums and added your forums to the PostFusion system. Time to start earning credit for posts! In order to utilize PostFusion, you must post in other participating forums. All forums are ranked based on a calculated rating which takes many different factors into account. Generall, the more you post in other PostFusion forums (particularly those ranked high on the list), the more likely you are to receive posts in your own forums. Earning Credit in PostFusion

1. First, go to the All Forums page.
2. Here you will find a list of all forums participating in PostFusion
3. Pick a forum which interests you and register at it - remember your username
4. Now, back at PostFusion, click the "Subscribe" button to the right of the forum listing
5. Enter the Username you used to register at that forum (not your AdminFusion username!)
6. Start posting at the other forum
   • It is important to first subscribe and then post. If you subscribe after posting, you will not get credit for your posts.
7. Feel free to register at more PostFusion forums if you wish

That is all there is to it! You will notice there is more navigation and more pages to peruse, but you now know the basics to using PostFusion. The more posts you make at participating forums, the more posts your forums receive in return!
