There are many good threads a new member doesn't see being updated the next time they log in. When I join a forum I look for good threads, I don't look for new threas, but for good stuff. I reply and get them back to the new posts spot. I have seen some great topics in the forums I am posting in in the program. There are threads that have the last reply 2-3 months ago. That doens't mean they are bad. As long as they are relevant, then I reply ... But I am talking about EMPTY forums here. No threads, nothing ... | ||||

If you see a forum in there that you can't post at because there's not enough threads, why not just close that window and look at another forum? I doubt many, if any, PostFusion members will post on an empty forum - and the owners of those forums will surely get the clue eventually. Setting a limit of 100 threads is a pretty big deal. If PostFusion is meant to help out a certain type of forum most, it's definitely new forums...Granted, I do agree that the owner of these forums should, at the least, make an attempt to invite conversation by creating new threads. Also, the limit of 15 posts that you are suggesting...is already there, but we have it at -25 posts. Whenever a forum reaches -25 posts, it is removed from the list until it comes back over that cut-off point.

One of the toughest stages of forum development is the start-up stage, and I don't know about you, but this is when I need other people's help the most to me. So, if PF disallows (almost) brand new forums to be listed, I feel like it defeats the purpose of post exchange. I'd appreciate any feedback on this.
