I'm slightly interested in this post fusion, and I think I grasp the whole idea but I don't understand why I have to upload anything to my forum

I've looked over the faq and spent a little time looking around these forums but I didn't see why..

you say it's automatic, do users actually post on my site, or are they bots.

When you install and sign up to use PostFusion, you will find a long list of forums in the system. You can pick and choose from any of these forums to post in. When you make a post in any of these forums, you will gain 1 "credit" towards your PostFusion balance here at AF. Forums are listed according to balance (highest balances first). The higher your balance, the better, because people are more likely to then post in your forums. When somebody makes 1 post in your forums, you lose 1 credit...and so on.

What you are installing when you sign up is a small script that reports usernames and posts back to us. This is how we keep track of how many posts all PostFusion users have made and received. The script that you have to install in your forums does not require any edits to your forum files, templates, or database and does not alter any of these in any way. It will also not interfere with any mods or features in your forums, so there is no reason to worry about it breaking your forums

ah, so the higher a forum is on that list.. I was checking that out... the better your chances that you'll get some ppl to post on your site..

so is it like 1 point per post.. I see the postfusion balance in some users post and some are -100 does that mean they need to give out 100 post still ?

i just don't want to look bad if I am not able to give out the post that have been given..

If someone has a minus number, (such as my self ) it means they have recieved more posts than they have given. If you drop below -25, you forum is taken off the list, (Could be -50, not sure)

It's not possible to drop past -50 with some recent changes we have made (actually, you can drop to -55 or so, but not much farther).

When you drop past -25, your forums are removed from the list, so nobody new can subscribe...this helps you work your balance back up. At any time, you may also disable your forums from PF to prevent anybody from bringing your balance down, giving you a chance to build your balance back up.

You can also do like me and post at other forums to build a large, positive balance without having to worry about your balance dropping at all.

It's actually 3.5+, which includes 3.6

3.5.X works on 3.6.x just the guys here havent altered the numbers, it confuses alot of folk.

No, technically, 3.5+ does include 3.6...most people just don't think that way.
